Amz is a pharmacist with experience in a range of operational roles, spanning leadership of pharmacy teams in primary and secondary care. Amz started her career in community pharmacy moving into managerial and regional roles with a National pharmacy chain, holding a post in learning and development before leading the operation of Outpatient Pharmacy Teams across the North of England. Leading our Senior Pharmacists, Amz is passionate about providing a service that is detail focused and pushes the role of our pharmacists in GP. Amz is a yoga fan (she gets on well with Pooja!) and enjoys cooking and dining out outside of work.
Ryan started life as a pharmacist in GP before moving into a CCG team to deliver Medicines Optimisation programs in his local County Durham area. Following his time at the CCG Ryan held senior management roles with a National Pharmacy chain, before returning to a PCN role in GP part-time alongside his Clinical Director role with us. Ryan also serves as Clinical Director of our sister company MORPh. Outside of office hours Ryan is a keen self-builder, never found too far from a cement mixer. He has a young family, three cats and loves walking on weekends.
Pooja is based in Leicester, and has worked in various sectors including community, hospital outpatients & of course primary care. A recent highlight for Pooja was her role in setting up and running local COVID-19 vaccination centres during the pandemic. In her role in GP, Pooja specialises in hypertension as part of her IP, and completed the CPPE Pathway alongside a Clinical Diploma. Outside of work, you’ll find Pooja running an Instagram page filled with motivation for the day, life coaching and teaching yoga. Pooja runs meditation classes at her nearest yoga studio. As the Wellbeing Lead for the company, Pooja is passionate about bringing these skills to make wellbeing accessible and a priority for all.
Stacey lives in York and has spent time across primary and secondary care in her career, including spells in community and outpatient pharmacy teams. She is an IP with a specialism is anticoagulation and Minor Illness. Stacey is passionate about broadening the clinical scope of her practice and supporting others to do the same through training and development. Outside of work Stacey can be found herding in her words, "a GINORMOUS German Shepherd Rottweiler pup" (Roxi) around the countryside, and pursuing the outdoors, climbing/bouldering and gardening.
Alan began his career in hospital pharmacy following a cross-sector pre-reg. Exposure to a range of services, on-calls and spells working as a locum in community pharmacy provided a broad underpinning for subsequent career development. Following completion of a Clinical Diploma Alan took up the role as a specialist antimicrobial pharmacist and latterly medical admissions lead. Career highlights include helping to set up a non-medical prescribing service, launching satellite pharmacies for dispensing, instigating a clinical pharmacy service to A+E and talking all about this at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress in London. Outside of work Alan spends time with his young family, travelling and reading, as well as playing guitar and piano.
